Your BMR(basal metabolic rate) is not a fixed number. It not only varies from person to person but also within the same person. One pound of muscle burns approximately 25 times more calories than a point of fat! To speed up your metabolism you'll need more muscle. A more muscular person burns more calories than a sedentary one. The solution is simple-you do the math!
